Athens Kiwanis Turtle RAces

It's almost time for the Athens Kiwanis Turtle Races at the Black-Eyed Pea Jamboree! Last year, we focused our races just on Terrapins as had been done in the past, but this year we're opening up the competition to ALL turtles (except snapping ones). Our racetrack is being remodeled to accommodate bigger competitors, and several other changes are in the works to improve the spectator 'Race Day Experience.' Stay tuned to this page for frequent updates on the changes we're making this year. Two things for sure: MORE RACERS and MORE RACES!
We encourage you to bring your own turtle, but we will also have turtles available to choose from.
