 The Athens Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2024 Black-Eyed Pea 5K, part of the larger Black-Eyed Pea Jamboree, one of Athens's oldest and most exciting events. The timed 5K race will kick off from the Cain Center and follow a route that includes the scenic Cain Center grounds, running track, and gorgeous, shaded Robbins Road. Race participants will receive a free event T-shirt and swag bag, and those who place in their age categories will receive prize medals. Entry fees are $25 for adults, and free for children 12 and under. Late registration is $35 so get registered by September 13th to save! 

There will be medals awarded in each age division for males as well as females. 

Not a 5K runner? No problem! The Family Fun Run is just for YOU! Be part of the event and bring the entire family for the route around Cain Park totaling just over a mile to promote health, wellness, and tradition. Be sure to register for the Fun Run below for $15 per participant and take home a shirt to commemorate.
