The Athens Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2023 Black-Eyed Pea 5K, part of the larger Black-Eyed Pea Jamboree, one of Athens's oldest and most exciting events. The timed 5K race will kick off from the Cain Center and follow a route that includes the scenic Cain Center grounds, running track, and gorgeous, shaded Robbins Road. Race participants will receive a free event T-shirt and swag bag, and those who place in their age categories will receive prize medals. Entry fees are $35 for adults, $25 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and younger. There will be medals awarded in each age division for males as well as females.

Race Day Registration will be from 7:15 am to 7:45 am Saturday, July 22, 2023. You will find registration as well as the starting line at the lower-level pool parking area off of Maryland Dr.
The race will kick off at 8:00 am. Snacks will be available immediately following provided by Hospitality ER, and awards will be presented on site.
