Join us as we celebrate our reigning title as Black-Eyed Pea Capital of the World! This two-day festival will take place on Friday, July 21st and Saturday, July 22nd on the square in Downtown Athens. The festival will have something for everyone of all ages to include:
Live entertainment, a 5K race, festival vendors, waterslides, Kid’s Zone, an antique tractor show, food vendors, turtle races, pea shelling competition, watermelon seed spitting competition, black-eyed pea cookoff, historical pop-up museum, historical video and of course there will be black-eyed peas!
